Privacy Policy
The WUPPERTALBEWEGUNG e.V. takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration.
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (for example name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
We point out that data transmission over the Internet (eg communication by e-mail) security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Video surveillance

The Wuppertal Movement has installed video cameras on the Belvedere (Hackenbergscher Garten) - the rest area and vantage point directly on the Nordbahntrasse next to the Askanierpark in Wichlinghausen - and on the Schwarzbachtrasse. Both areas are in the private hereditary building right of the Wuppertal Movement e.V. The recordings are not continuously observed, but only evaluated in the case of criminal offenses, misdemeanors and violations of the law, especially vandalism.

The purpose of the monitoring is therefore the prevention of criminal acts, especially vandalism, and their prosecution. When weighing the interest of the visitors in anonymity and protection of their personal data against the interest in maintaining these facilities, which have been made possible by a generous donation or high funding from the federal government (Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO), the latter prevails. The lack of visibility of the Belvedere from the Nordbahntrasse and the adjacent streets, as well as the lonely location of a large part of the Schwarzbachtrasse, reduces social control to such an extent that additional protection through video surveillance is necessary here. This has unfortunately been shown by the experience of the last 10 years in connection with the Nordbahntrasse.

Provided that no events of the kind described above are detected, the recordings are deleted after 6 days at the latest.
